The Rules Of Tennis Explained By Biemball
Tennis Is Agame Played As Singles Where One Person Against One person Or Doubles Where Two Persons Against Two Persons
The Object Of The Game Is For Or Your Team To Score More Points And To Win Sets Faster Than The Opposing Pleyer Or Team
In The Womens Game You Have To Win 2 Sets And In The Mens Games You Must Win 3 Sets To Win Aset You Must Win At Least 6 Games And Be At Least 2 Games Ahead To Win Agame You Must Win 4 points And Be At least Two Points Ahead Hey…Whoa I’m Confused Already
Let’s Start From The Beginning The Tennis Court Is 78ft Long By 36ft Wide And The Net Is 3.5 Fit Above The Ground These Are Some Of The Other Dimensions Of The Court And Note That The Erea Of Play Is Different For Both Singles And Doubles .
The Game Stars With One Pleyer Making Asever To Do This They Must Stand Behind The Line And Hit The Ball Into This Erea Of The Opponents Court⤵️

The Opponent Is Allowed Maximum Of One Bounce To Hit The Ball Back Over The Net In To The Other Pleyers Court .
The Idea Is To Hit The Ball In To Your Opponents Court And For You Opponent Not To Be Able To Hit It Back If You Manage To Successfully Hit The Ball In To Your Opponents Court With Out Them Returning The Favour You Score If You Score one Point You Score 15 If You Score Two Points You Score 30 If You Score Three Point You Score 40 And If You Score 4 points And Are Two Points Ahead You Win The Game .
The Only Time Is Different Is When The Score 40-40 This Is Known As (Deuce) And You Know Have To Win Two Straight Points To Win The Game.
After Agame Is Won The Other Pleyer Or Pair Serves The Ball From The Other Side To Start The Next Game Once Player Has Won 6 games And Is At Least 2 Games Ahead They Win Aset Winning 2 Sets And 3 Sets Faster Then You Opponnts Wins You The Match
There’s A lot Of Things You Cannot Do In Tennis
( You can’t hit The ball Outside The Erea Of Play )
( You can’t hit the ball in to the net and for it to land on your side Of The Court )
(You can’t hit the ball twice in succession )
(You can’t touch The Net )
(You can’t touch the ball With Any part of your body Execept With The Rocket)
And You can’t commit A double Fault If You Commit Any Of These Infractions results In Your Opponents Being Awarded Apoint
Now That’s basically tennis In A nutshell But There’s Afew Things You’ll need to Understand before playing or Going to Agame
For Example Fault or double falt During Aserve You have two chances to serve The ball legaly
You Must be behind the line and your must hit the ball into this area of your Opponents Court Should you fail to do either of those things This Is Known as fault and you must Serve The ball again If You Commit 2 Faults In Arrow This Is A double fault And Your Opponent Is Automatically Awarded Apoint Let If alegal serve hits The net before landing in the Opponents area ,this is known as let And The Pleyer is Allowed to serve The ball again With Out fault
- ACE If Apleyer serves The ball legaly and the opponent can’t return the ball This is known as Ace
- ADVANTAGE During deuce If You Score one point you are known to have an advantage The only need one more point to win the game Unless you opponent scores
- TIE BREAKER If the games are tied at 6-6 atie breaker Is Used To Determine Whos Wins The Set Pleyers take it in turns to serve And aim is to score 7 points And Be At least Two Points ahead This carries on until some one win the set.
